In Partnership with God

"The Mind of Man plans his ways, but the Lord directs his steps" The words from a song taken from Proverbs 16:9

The Message Bible states it this way:
"We plan the way we want to live, but only God makes us able to live it."

Isn't it amazing that our God, the only one true God, alive and orchestrating the entire universe cares about humanity in general, but then to take that down to each one of us in our individual lives? He gives us the tools in life and whatever it is that is necessary to work out HIS master plan and we have some kind of input? I think this is a terrific nugget. I am reminded of a wonderful scripture that assures us that the same power that raised Christ from the dead also resides in us. I have been chewing on this particular scripture for about a month, and I am so excited to learn and wait on the Lord to expand my understanding of this.

Just a few random thoughts here, but what if we as the Body of Christ (all believers) acted like we were powerful, instead of powerless? Over comers, instead of being overcome, victorious instead of defeated? What kind of change could we have on our own lives; much less the rippling effect living in that kind of power would have on the entire earth? I am convinced that if we each walked in the power of what God of heaven and earth, has for us as individuals; we would impact the whole earth for His kingdom. I haven't heard much on this subject lately, but I am here to say it loudly, dare to be different, dare to walk in kingdom power, dare to live above carnal temptation, dare to walk in the power of the resurrected Christ! Dare to make a difference in your family, dare to be your family's hero. And when you do, keep no glory for yourself, let it be known that you do so, by the wonderful love and by the grace of God living in you through Jesus. All glory belongs to Him.

Oh, my heavenly Father, My God, would you enlarge my understanding so that I could comprehend what glorious gift (s) are inside of me and help me to learn to walk in the complete freedom that comes with having the power that raised Christ from the dead living inside of me! Abba, my Father, I also pray that you would show me your ways, and teach me your truths, so that I could know you better than I do today and the power of your resurrection.

I pray for your church, that we would as a corporate body come to our own end and embrace your glorious ways. That we would willingly lay down our plans, our ways, and embrace whatever it is that you would have for us. I pray that you would continue to shake us Lord, until there is nothing left to shake so that when we stand, we will stand strong and firm, grounded in YOUR word, in your ways, and in your design for this world. I pray Lord for our leaders that you would impart to them godly and spiritual wisdom, with understanding that they make decisions not for themselves only, but for our future and their generations also. God, please have mercy on us and spare us from your wrath, show us your mercy God, in your loving kindness. Amen!

Have the BEST day ever!

Chilon
